๐According to a new report from Statistics Canada, Alberta was one of Canada's leading economic contributors in 2023, despite a national growth slowdown. While Canada's real GDP growth dropped to 1.2%, down from 3.6% in 2022, Alberta's economy expanded by 1.5%, following a 5.1% growth in 2022. Alberta ranked third in economic contributions, behind Ontario and B.C. The province's growth was mainly driven by mining, quarrying, and oil gas extraction, which accounted for 46% of the momentum. However, the construction sector's slower growth and a 14.1% decrease in crop yields were hindrances to Alberta's overall economic performance. ๐๐จ๐ฆ @manojkaratha_realtor . . #AlbertaEconomy #EconomicGrowth #StatisticsCanada #GDP #Mining #OilAndGas #Construction #mnm #malayalisnearmeapp #canadaupdate #canadanews
