👉British Columbia's Community Housing Fund is directing funding toward nearly 600 new rental homes across the Interior and Northern regions. These homes are part of 15 selected projects developed in collaboration with local non-profits. Housing Minister Ravi Kahlon announced the initiative in Okanagan Falls, marking progress in addressing housing challenges. This effort complements recent announcements of affordable units in Vancouver Island and Metro Vancouver. With over 40 new projects identified, approximately 3,500 affordable rental homes are expected to be developed statewide.
