๐The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) now covers over 2.3 million Canadians, with nearly 450,000 already receiving care. Health Minister Mark Holland announced that over 75% of dental care providers are participating, totaling close to 19,000. Initially, seniors and children under 18, as well as those with a Disability Tax Credit certificate, were eligible, with full rollout expected by 2025. Despite quick uptake from Canadians, providers expressed concerns about administrative burdens and reimbursement. To address this, direct billing through Sun Life was introduced. The CDCP, part of a Liberal-NDP agreement, aims to help nine million low-income, uninsured Canadians. . #CanadaDentalCare #HealthCare #DentalCoverage #CDCP #MarkHolland #AffordableDentalCare #OralHealth #mnm #malayalisnearmeapp #canadaupdate #canadanews
