๐Statistics Canada reports Canada's merchandise trade deficit reached $2.3 billion in March, the largest since June 2023, following February's $476 million surplus. March saw total exports drop by 5.3% to $62.6 billion, primarily due to a decrease in unwrought gold exports, which had surged in February. Exports of metal and non-metallic mineral products also declined by 17.4%. Imports decreased by 1.2% to $64.8 billion, with electronic and electrical equipment imports falling by 8.1%. In volume terms, exports fell by 4.7% and imports decreased by 1.2%. ๐๐จ๐ฆ @jom_mattam . . #CanadaTrade #TradeDeficit #StatsCan #CanadianEconomy #Export #Import #MarchTrade #mnm #malayalisnearmeapp #canadaupdate #canadanews
