👉The Canadian federal government has inked a $30 million tourism funding deal with the Atlantic provinces. The Atlantic Canada Agreement on Tourism aims to enhance year-round tourism from both domestic and international visitors. Ottawa will invest $18 million over four and a half years through the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, with an additional $12 million collectively contributed by the four provinces.
