👉Victoria resident Sammy Pullen relies on her electric kick scooter for work, covering 25 km daily due to a repetitive strain injury. Despite the growing preference for micro-mobility, electric scooters are still illegal in most of B.C. except for select cities participating in a pilot program. Vancouver, North Vancouver, Richmond, Kelowna, and Nanaimo on Vancouver Island are part of this initiative, which aims to assess potential amendments to the Motor Vehicle Act.
