👉Anahim Lake, home to the Ulkatcho First Nation in central British Columbia, is set to house what could be Canada's largest off-grid solar project. With nearly $16 million in federal and provincial funding, the Ulkatcho Energy Corporation will construct the solar farm. Expected to generate 3.8 megawatts, the project will reduce diesel generation by 64%, saving approximately 1.1 million litres of diesel annually.
