👉York Regional Police announced they found human remains in Kawartha Lakes while searching for missing woman Ying Zhang. The discovery was made Monday evening near Palestine Road and Fenel Road in Kirkfield. Investigators had been following leads in their search for Zhang, 57, who was last seen at a Markham wellness centre last Thursday. A 26-year-old man from East Gwillimbury has been arrested and charged with kidnapping, forcible confinement, and aggravated assault. Forensic tests are required to identify the remains, and police continue to investigate the connection between the accused and Zhang.✅ .
