Judges praised its "funky and distinct aroma" and "compelling unique quality." Made from a mix of wheat, rye, and oats sourced from Atlantic Canada, the vodka undergoes a slow, controlled fermentation process before being distilled, filtered, and bottled. Co-founder Peter Madden hopes the international recognition will help the young distillery expand its presence in Newfoundland and Labrador.
