👉In an official statement, the province announced that this year's rate adjustment will align with the national consumer price index, augmented by one percentage point from the preceding April's minimum wage. This results in a 4.7 percent increase from the April 2023 rate. The adjustment adheres to the formula recommended by Nova Scotia's minimum wage review committee, comprising an equal representation of employee and employer representatives.
