๐Ontario is eliminating the need for sick notes as part of efforts to reduce paperwork for family physicians. Health Minister Sylvia Jones announced this change alongside other measures aimed at freeing up primary care doctors for more patient-focused care. Employers will no longer require a doctor's note for employees to use their provincially-mandated annual sick leave. Instead, employees can provide self-attestations or receipts for over-the-counter medication. Additionally, Ontario is expanding an AI pilot program, called Scribe, to 150 primary care clinics. This AI technology transcribes and summarizes patient visits, reducing doctors' paperwork and allowing for more patient care. ๐๐จ๐ฆ @manojkaratha_realtor . . #OntarioHealthcare #SickNotes #AIinMedicine #PrimaryCare #PatientCare #HealthTech #ReducingPaperwork #mnm #malayalisnearmeapp #canadaupdate #canadanews
