It was the fourth crew disappearance in a year that he failed to return for the Islamabad-bound flight, according to PIA officials. Two attendants, Khalid Afridi and Fida Shah, vanished in Toronto previously, which prompted the implementation of stricter regulations. Another member of the crew, Aijaz Ali Shah, was absent from his return flight as well. Canada's immigration regulations grant temporary visa exemptions to flight crew members.
