Created as a collaboration between the New Brunswick provincial government and the federal government, the program aims to attract individuals who can address labor shortages in the province. As part of the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NB PNP), the NBCWP operates through six participating employers across various industries in the province: Cooke Aquaculture Inc. Groupe Savoie Inc. Groupe Westco Imperial Manufacturing J.D. Irving Ltd. McCain Foods. To be considered for nomination, candidates must possess a valid job offer from one of these eligible employers and demonstrate their intention to reside in New Brunswick.
