🍁 Decrease in backlog of IRCC applications despite higher number of applications🍁 ✅ The latest data from Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) reveals a decrease in the application backlog, with 802,600 applications pending out of 2,274,600 as of July 31. This is an improvement from May when there were 820,000 backlogged applications out of 2,248,000. Despite the usual summer surge in applications, IRCC is working to meet service standards, aiming to process 80% of applications within specified timeframes.
