Both the Cape Breton-Victoria Regional Centre for Education and the Strait Regional Centre for Education decided to cancel classes just before 6 a.m. due to prevailing weather conditions. 👉Gasoline prices are on the rise in the Maritimes, with Halifax experiencing a 5.6 cents per litre increase, reaching a minimum price of 163.6 cents per litre. Cape Breton motorists face a minimum of 165.6 cents for regular gasoline and 200.8 cents for diesel. In P.E.I., regular self-serve gasoline prices climbed by 2.9 cents to a new minimum of 163.4 cents per litre.
