๐Starting this fall, Alberta will ban cellphones in classrooms from kindergarten to Grade 12. Education Minister Demetrios Nicolaides announced the move, citing distractions and cyberbullying as major concerns. Exceptions will be made for health-related uses, but otherwise, devices must be turned off and out of sight. School networks will also restrict social media access. A survey of over 68,000 stakeholders showed strong support for the ban, with 90% favoring restrictions. School boards will implement the policy according to provincial standards. The Alberta Teachersโ Association and other educational bodies have expressed their support for this decision. ๐๐จ๐ฆ @manojkaratha_realtor . . #AlbertaEducation #CellphoneBan #ClassroomFocus #StudentWellBeing #CyberbullyingPrevention #EdTech #SchoolPolicy #mnm #malayalisnearmeapp #canadaupdate #canadanews
