👉Sault College has filed a defamation lawsuit against Conestoga College and its president, John Tibbits, following comments Tibbits made about Sault College president David Orazietti. Tibbits allegedly referred to Orazietti as a "whore" during a public event in February. The dispute arose from differing opinions on the reliance of each college on tuition from international students. Sault College stated that legal action was a last resort after requesting a direct apology from Tibbits for what they deemed as personal attacks and misinformation.
