Meet our newest Honorary Member: Praveen Varkey! Mr. Varkey is the President and CEO of Ontario Heroes Health and Social Services. Ontario Heroes is a Volunteer-based not-for-profit organization that offers Medical, legal, social services free of charges and has a helpline for parents of international students. Mr. Varkey is the recipient of the Remarkable Citizen Award 2020 in the community for his incredible work in the community during the pandemic and also receipient of COVID Hero award 2021 by the City of Mississauga. Mr. Varkey is an experienced Registered Social Worker specializing in Medical Social Work, Rehabilitation services, Eldercare, Palliative care, Complex case management, individual and family counselling in Canada and India. Hi everyone, Ontario Heroes is organizing another free information session on Economic Immigration on TODAY NOVEMBER 8, 2022 at 11am. https://ontarioheroes.ca/an-information-session-on-economic-immigration/ The information session will provide an overview of IRCC’s Economic Immigration programs and resources for employers and RCIC agents looking to hire and retain foreign workers from within Canada and abroad. This topic will be presented by Mr. Angelo Reymondo, Outreach Officer, Domestic Network, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s (IRCC), Government of Canada. This program would help potential employers to: – Find out more about hiring temporary foreign workers and the work permit process – Learn about hiring international students and how to retain them after they graduate – Connect with resources to help find skilled workers faster Kindly note that this session is NOT intended for international students or individuals who already have an open file with IRCC under any category. There will not be any Q&A session pertaining to any individual queries/status We invite all potential employers and RCIC agents, individuals who are looking to hire and retain foreign workers from within Canada and abroad to participate in this resourceful information session.
