๐Canadaโs two largest railways, Canadian National (CN) and Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC), will resume service today after a work stoppage that disrupted freight and commuter traffic across the country. The stoppage, which began last Thursday, involved over 9,000 workers locked out amid a contract dispute with the Teamsters union. The Canada Industrial Relations Board ordered both companies to resume operations as of 12:01 a.m. Monday, ahead of binding arbitration. Despite the ruling, the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference plans to appeal the decision. CPKC has warned that it may take weeks for the rail network and supply chains to stabilize. . #CanadaRailways #CPKC #CanadianNational #RailwayStrike #SupplyChain #FreightTraffic #TeamstersUnion #mnm #malayalisnearmeapp #canadaupdate #canadanews
