The vaccine will be available for provinces and territories within days, pending rollout schedules. The approval comes ahead of Canada's fall and winter vaccination campaigns, with sufficient supply to meet demand. The National Advisory Committee on Immunization recommends the updated vaccine for those 65+, individuals in long-term care, Indigenous communities, and essential workers.
