👉Air Canada announced a fourth-quarter profit of $184 million, marking an increase from $168 million the previous year, while experiencing an 11% rise in operating revenue. The airline reported earnings of 41 cents per diluted share for the quarter ended December 31, consistent with the same period in 2022. Operating revenue reached $5.18 billion, up from $4.68 billion in Q4 2022, attributed to a nine percent increase in operational capacity. Operating expenses rose by eight percent due to higher costs related to increased capacity and traffic, partially offset by lower jet fuel prices.
