๐Kimberly Polman, a 51-year-old from Squamish, B.C., has been arrested and charged with terrorism offences after being repatriated from a Syrian prison camp in 2022. Polman is accused of leaving Canada in 2015 to join ISIS. She faces charges of participating in and supporting a terrorist group. Polman, who claims she was lured to Syria by her ISIS husband, was arrested upon her return to Canada and has been under a terrorism peace bond since November 2023. Her next court appearance is on August 2. The RCMP credits the success of the investigation to strong policing and intelligence partnerships. ๐๐จ๐ฆ @kamalpillai_realtor . . #TerrorismCharges #ISIS #KimberlyPolman #Canada #RCMP #NationalSecurity #BCNews #mnm #malayalisnearmeapp #canadaupdate #canadanews
