👉Highway 417 in central Ottawa will be closed from 7 p.m. Thursday, July 25 until early Monday, July 29 for an overpass replacement at Preston Street. This closure impacts both directions between Carling Avenue and Metcalfe Street, with detours via Carling, Chamberlain, and Catherine streets. Preston Street will also be closed in stages, with a full closure starting July 25. Drivers should use Carling, Bronson, and Gladstone avenues, while other road users can use the Trillium pathway.
