πOntario Provincial Police (OPP) used a spike belt to stop a stolen vehicle on Highway 401 in eastern Ontario, leading to the arrest of an Ottawa man. The incident occurred after officers responded to a report from York Regional Police about the stolen vehicle. Police located the stolen Toyota on Hwy. 401 and attempted to stop it, but the driver failed to comply. The spike belt was deployed, safely bringing the vehicle to a stop.
