👉After weeks of striking, over 35,000 Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) members of the Union of Taxation Employees (UTE) have finally reached a tentative agreement with the Canada Revenue Agency. The four-year deal includes a compounded wage increase of 12.6% over four years and a one-time pensionable payment of $2,500. The workers are expected to return to their jobs by 11:30 a.m. ET on Thursday. This agreement is a sigh of relief for the workers who had been without a deal since 2021.
