πThe British Columbia government has earmarked $155.7 million to recruit and retain health-science workers, with a focus on addressing the increasing demand for skilled staff, especially in remote communities. Health Minister Adrian Dix announced that the funding will support various occupations, including audiologists, dietitians, lab technologists, and radiation therapists. Of the total amount, $73.1 million will be dedicated to retaining health workers in rural areas, offering signing bonuses for high-priority vacancies, and expanding professional development and mental health services. An additional $60 million will be allocated for worker support and $15 million for peer support and mentorship programs.β . πππ¬π ππ§ππ’π-πππ§πππ ππ₯π’π π‘π ππππ₯π¬ ππ°ππ’π! πππ‘π¦ππ§ ππ«ππ―ππ₯ πππ«π―π’πππ¬ (πππ) πππ-ππππ, πππ-πππ-ππππ π¬ππ₯ππ¬@π«ππ‘π¦ππ§ππ«ππ―ππ₯π¬ππ«π―π’πππ¬.ππ¨π¦ @rahmantravelservices . . #BritishColumbia #HealthcareWorkers #Recruitment #Retention #RuralCommunities #HealthMinistry #ProfessionalDevelopment #MentalHealth #mnm #malayalisnearmeapp #canadaupdate #canadanews
