πBritish Columbia has implemented new legislation banning the use of fully automated self-driving vehicles on its roads. The changes, which quietly came into effect earlier this month, restrict drivers from operating Level 3 or higher automated vehicles as defined by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). Despite being in the driver's seat, individuals are not considered to be driving cars above Level 3 automation. Minister of Transportation Rob Fleming emphasized that the regulations aim to enhance road safety. Penalties for violating the law include fines of up to $2,000 and six months' imprisonment.β . πππ¬π ππ§ππ’π-πππ§πππ ππ₯π’π π‘π ππππ₯π¬ ππ°ππ’π! πππ‘π¦ππ§ ππ«ππ―ππ₯ πππ«π―π’πππ¬ (πππ) πππ-ππππ, πππ-πππ-ππππ π¬ππ₯ππ¬@π«ππ‘π¦ππ§ππ«ππ―ππ₯π¬ππ«π―π’πππ¬.ππ¨π¦ @rahmantravelservices . . #BritishColumbia #SelfDrivingCars #AutomationBan #RoadSafety #Transportation #Legislation #SocietyOfAutomotiveEngineers #mnm #malayalisnearmeapp #canadaupdate #canadanews
