👉On Monday, three new wildfires were reported in northern Ontario's Northeast Region. Sudbury 5, covering 1.2 hectares, is uncontrolled east of Hachey Lake. Sudbury 6, at 0.3 hectares, is held on the Wolseley River's north shore. Sudbury 7, a 0.2-hectare fire, is uncontrolled near Armstrong Lake. Existing fires include Bancroft 4, 5, and 6, Chapleau 2, Sault Ste Marie 3, Timmins 1 and 2, with varied control statuses. The fire hazard is moderate to high, with some areas extreme.
