๐The University of Windsor has been granted $15 million by the federal government to continue its research in pandemic preparedness. The INSPIRE project, focused on enhancing Canada's pandemic response, will investigate ways to improve biomanufacturing, health sector supply chains, and cross-border trade. Lead researcher Mike McKay emphasizes the need to strengthen the private sector's ability to meet health sector demands during pandemics. Funded through the Canada Biomedical Research Fund and the Biosciences Research Infrastructure Fund, the project will also assess Windsor-Essex's vulnerability to biothreats. Additionally, part of the funding will be used to purchase equipment for a mobile lab capable of analyzing samples off-campus. ๐๐จ๐ฆ @kamalpillai_realtor . . #UWindsor #PandemicPreparedness #INSPIREproject #BiomedicalResearch #CanadaFunding #Healthcare #ResearchInnovation #mnm #malayalisnearmeapp #canadaupdate #canadanews
