From Tuesday, individuals 18 and older in BC will be permitted to possess up to 2.5 grams of drugs including cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, methamphetamine, and morphine. The government has given BC a three-year trial period for this initiative, during which these drugs will remain illegal but those possessing less than 2.5 grams will not face arrest, charges, or drug confiscation.
