Alberta Revamps Immigration: New EOI System to Streamline Applications

✅Starting September 30, 2024, Alberta’s immigration process will shift to a new Expression of Interest (EOI) system under the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP). This points-based system allows continuous submissions and ranks candidates based on skills, work experience, and alignment with Alberta’s labor market needs. The highest-ranked candidates will be invited to apply for immigration. This change replaces fixed application dates, enhancing efficiency and ensuring that the province attracts individuals who can significantly contribute to its economy.
