Major changes are expected in NOC codes from November 2022 onwards
The Canadian economy is growing day by day, and changes are being made in immigration law to meet its shortage of in-demand occupations. The revised NOC codes will most likely affect Express Entry and PNP candidates, particularly those with NOC Skill Level B jobs Some of the newly added Occupations to the existing list.
The biggest change in the NOC 2021 is that the current four-category โskill levelโ structure has been replaced by a six-category system. The new system outlines the level of Training, Education, Experience, and Responsibilities (TEER) required to enter each occupation.
The Occupations that will be added to the NOC 2022, have the below mentioned 16 new occupations:
Payroll administrators
Dental assistants and dental laboratory assistants
Nurse aides, orderlies, and patient service associates
Pharmacy technical assistants and pharmacy assistants
Elementary and secondary school teacher assistants
Sheriffs and bailiffs
Correctional service officers
By-law enforcement and other regulatory officers
Estheticians, electrologists, and related occupations
Residential and commercial installers and servicers
Pest controllers and fumigators
Other repairers and servicers

Heavy equipment operators
Aircraft assemblers and aircraft assembly inspectors.
The Occupations that failed to make it to the list are:
