Applications Open for Rural and Francophone Immigration Pilot Programs

✅Economic development organizations have until July 2 to apply for the new rural and Francophone immigration pilot programs, according to a news release from Nickel Belt MP Marc Serré. These organizations can apply for one or both pilots, demonstrating their eligibility and how immigration will bolster their local economies. The IRCC will select up to 15 communities to participate, based on economic needs, availability of services and programs for newcomers, and the capacity of the economic development organizations to partner with the IRCC. .
