Canada to Invite 35,700 Sponsors for Parents and Grandparents Program in May

✅Canada will invite 35,700 potential sponsors under the Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP) in May. These invitations will be drawn from the pool of interest to sponsor forms submitted in 2020 and will be sent out starting May 21 over a two-week period. The PGP allows Canadian citizens and permanent residents outside Quebec to sponsor their parents and/or grandparents to become permanent residents. The federal government aims to welcome 23,500 new permanent residents annually under this program.
