✅The latest IRCC update reveals that Canada's immigration backlog has risen to 2,292,400 applications, an increase from the previous month's 2,220,000. As of June 30, 2024, 936,600 applications exceeded the IRCC service standards, marking a 6.62% rise since May 31, 2024. Temporary residency applications saw an 11.13% month-on-month increase despite a cap on international students. The backlog also includes citizenship and permanent residency applications, with permanent residency seeing a slight increase.
