Triage, managed by parameters developed by experienced IRCC officers, streamlines applications for further processing. The eligibility function identifies straightforward cases for streamlined processing, with final decisions made by officers. Importantly, only IRCC officers can reject applications, and the tool, aligned with privacy and human rights standards, does not make refusal recommendations.
