👉The Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) is preparing formal complaints against the federal government, alleging that the mandate for federal public servants to return to offices at least three days a week in September violates collective agreements. The government's directive, effective September 9, increases office time from the current requirement of two or three days a week, depending on the department. The Treasury Board updated the policy to enhance workplace presence and ensure fairness and consistency in hybrid work application. PSAC, along with other unions, is challenging this rule, and complaints are being prepared to be filed with the Federal Public Sector Labour Relations and Employment Board.✅ .
