๐According to a recent report by the Conference Board of Canada (CBoC), Sudbury, Ontario's economy is predicted to outperform both Canada and Ontario in the upcoming year. Although Sudbury's gross domestic product (GDP) contracted by 0.1% in the previous year, the report suggests that it will grow by 1.4% in 2023, followed by a 2.0% increase in 2024 and a 1.3% rise in 2025. The CBoC Senior Economist, Robin Wiebe, notes that the provincial forecast anticipates a 0.9% gain this year, compared to a 0.7% increase for Canada. Therefore, Wiebe predicts that Sudbury has good potential for a solid recovery and a stable economy in the future. The CBoC's Major Cities Insights, which caters to economic development groups and corporations, covers 24 Canadian cities, including Sudbury.โ
