Toronto's auto theft claims rose from $56 million in 2018 to $372 million in 2023, marking a 561% increase. Ontario saw claims exceed $1 billion last year, a 524% rise over five years. Other cities like Brampton, Mississauga, Vaughan, and Markham also experienced significant jumps.
