๐In its first month of operation, the new photo radar camera in Ottawa's Lowertown neighbourhood caught 7,569 speeders on King Edward Avenue. This camera recorded an average of 244 speeding violations daily in March, marking the highest number of tickets issued by a single camera since Ottawa's automated speed enforcement program began in 2020. Citywide, Ottawa's 40 photo radar cameras issued a total of 43,416 speeding tickets in March, with plans to expand the program to 60 cameras by the end of 2024. To handle the expected one million photo radar tickets this year, Ottawa proposes streamlining the ticket-challenging process. ๐๐ @chackolaw.ca . . #Ottawa #PhotoRadar #SpeedingTickets #TrafficSafety #AutomatedEnforcement #TrafficViolations #mnm #malayalisnearmeapp #canadaupdate #canadanews
