🍁IRCC Extends PGWP Eligibility for International Students Abroad🍁 ✅Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) have prolonged the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) eligibility relaxation for international students. Until December 31, 2023, students who completed less than 50% of their PGWP-eligible studies abroad remain eligible. The relaxed rules, initiated due to pandemic-related travel restrictions, permit students who began their studies overseas before August 31, 2022, to count 100% of that time toward PGWP eligibility. Students who started studies between September 1, 2022, and December 31, 2023, can count 50% of the time. The extension does not apply to students studying abroad after September 1, 2023, or those enrolling in programs after August 31, 2022. . .
