👉Punjab's NRI Affairs Minister, Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, recently appealed to the central government for support in assisting Indian students who fell victim to an immigration scam. The majority of these students hail from Punjab and will be provided legal aid by immigration law experts in Canada, according to Dhaliwal. To ensure the welfare of these students, he has also reached out to all Members of Parliament of Punjabi origin in Canada. In a significant development, Dhaliwal announced that the state government would offer free legal assistance to approximately 700 students who are facing deportation from Canada.
