๐An Indian-origin man was arrested in Canada in connection with the country's largest gold heist. Archit Grover, 36, was apprehended at Pearson International Airport upon arriving from India. He is charged with theft over $5000 and conspiracy to commit an indictable offense. The heist involved 6,600 bars of pure gold worth over $20 million and CAD 2.5 million in foreign currency, stolen using fake paperwork. Grover's arrest comes after nine others were arrested in April 2023. Canada-wide warrants remain for Simran Preet Panesar, a former Air Canada employee, and Arsalan Chaudhary. ๐๐จ๐ฆ @kamalpillai_realtor . . #GoldHeist #CanadaCrime #IndianOrigin #ArchitGrover #PearsonAirport #PeelPolice #mnm #malayalisnearmeapp #canadaupdate #canadanews
